Glade Township was incorporated in 1844. It is a township of the second class with a population as of the 2010 census of 2,308. There are 23,515 acres and 36 square miles in Glade Township. There are 18.42 miles of township roads.
The township is governed by a three member Board of Supervisors. Each Supervisor is elected for a term of six years with one term expiring every two years on December 31.
The present Board of Supervisors consists of: David Sedon (Chairman), Bryan Drescher (Vice Chairman) and Joseph Scully (Supervisor).
The Board of Supervisors are responsible for adopting a budget for the township and the sewer fund. The Board also levy’s taxes and adopts Ordinances and Resolutions to establish rules and regulations within the township, making Glade Township a safe and healthy place of residence.
The Board meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 1285 Cobham Park Rd., Warren PA.
